Scope - Lumen Optical is a chain of optical stores in the Chicago area started by 1-800 Contacts. Initially I was only tasked with consulting on the creation of the brand and strategy with one of 1-800’s agency partners. Once the brand was completed I was asked to step in as creative director to bring the brand to life.
The brand is built around the idea that eyeglasses are the fusion of art and science. Illustration is the driving force behind the brand. It bridges the gap between art and science (fashion and clinical).
